I like how Kogan shows you popups of people purchasing items with their whereabouts ( i saw 2 people buy that TV 1 from my region and someone from elsewhere, and other people buying other products). I can see how it would tempt people to buy - powered impulsive buying!! Good work kogan!
edit: i've seen at least 5 people buy the above TV in the last 5 minutes (assuming kogan's not faking the popups)
With $250 millions turnover at Kogan group last year, I don't think they are faking it. This feature is not new but very effective as it gives people the real life shopping experiences digitally. Ps. No, I don't for Kogan.
I purchased a 55" TV from them last night; and paid the $85 delivery charge. Going to try and get that refunded given that they do free shipping (presumably from midnight; 3 hours after I purchased)
Any hints as to how I should go about that?
ive always doubted the pop up on kogan website, at the rate of those S4 flying out the door
Bought one of these 42" last year via the live price option at 430)+shipping=454. I would advise if you have money for extra $100 or so buy a branded LG/samsung. For ordinary Eyes like me didn't notice a difference in kogan quality. But its extremely slow with power up and channel switches may be they use older processor or less Ram. My friend has panasonic damn the company quality shows. Wish i waited to save a bit more to buy a company product. hate when i switch channels takes 15 seconds or so and powerup takes a full 30 seconds. Damn hate wasting time everyday.
15 seconds per channel wtf?!
Anybody know the quality of these Kogan TVs?
