    • From what I can gather online, since it is the 3.5" desktop version, yes you can.

      • it doesnt matter whether it is 2.5" or 3.5" but rather if the usb connector is soldered onto the drive

        • I was under the impression that they only soldered some of the 2.5" portable drives, not the 3.5". Could be wrong. Not certain if its different for different drive generations or the latest.
