Own one and wouldnt recommend it for full house clean, not bad for a spot clean and price is not bad (I paid $99).

This shampooer uses hot water and carpet cleaner mix which saturates the carpet and then uses suction power to pick water up, damages carpet unlike the steam ones (the ones professionals use). Takes forever to dry.

Very slow in performance, it will take at least 6-8 hours to clean a two bed apartment.

      • how large is your apartment?

you mean 6 hours to clean or dry?

      • DON'T use hot water in this this shampooer, it will break it. And yes, they are crap! Never believe what you see on TV advertisements. It will not clean carpet - spend more money and get a machine with a rotating brush, it will do 10 times the job.

  • I'm assuming the cleaning power is nowhere near the professional ones.

    • Yep you are absolutely right about that, its more like you get what you pay for.

A few months ago (around March) Godfrey's was going a $99 deal for this carpet shampooer + a steam mop + a stick vacuum with detachable hand vacuum.

    • That was a good deal considering you got all those extras for $20 more.

  • i got this a year ago ,paid 99 for this, a steam mop, a bottle of bissell shampoo ($18 on their website) and a free in-home demo (this is what I want most person to person demonstration). I say it does its job. For a four bed rooms house with a one 20spm lounge it costs about 2 hours to finish.
