Sticky tape the body to a colleagues desk or chair, out of sight, and do the same for pull-chain. When the pull out their said desk drawer or chair the alarm is triggered. Good for workplace shenanigans

I was looking at the price for batteries and found this:

Honestly not such a bad idea. These units have been sitting there so long, we do often get calls about the batteries. If you get a scratchy or un ear piercing sound from these, please, pull the batteries out, give the terminals a good scrub and try again. If that fails, give us a call, we'll get another unit right on its way. These things should hurt the ears - anything less - battery terminals need a clean.
