Hmm, wonder what's Hollandia like. Seems to be the only one worth getting here.

    • +1

Hollandia is similar to Heineken , personally I like it
Maybe a time to try some bitburger

    • It's a drinkable Dutch lager, a bit stronger then the taste of than Heineken. Not the heaviness of Grolsch or the aromatics of Oranjeboom. Worth a go at this price

      • Yes, crisp clean and hoppy, but much better than the other bland Dutch stuff mentioned. Couldn't find it anywhere last week but Woolies finally got some in -$34! I'll duck down to DM's tomorrow to get another and maybe give one of the others a go. Thanks OP

    • I'd stick with Oetinger (~$40 for 24 case of 500mL), but Hollandia is OK.

Not huge savings — Oettinger is always $29 and Hollandia's usually only $32 at DM, but not bad for Bitburger which is usually $40.

  • Bolt goes down easy, but It's usually pretty cheap

These are all Woolworths own/private label products - obvious issue with their sales, and hence the price drop to get things moving …

It is coming up to the end of financial year so they are driving up sales before then. No complaints here.

Note: I do not represent Woolworths Limited in any capacity and this post is my own opinion, I just work there.

      • It is coming up to the end of financial year

Does their financial year finish 30-June though ???

        • I believe it does, as publicly listed companies must provide reports each financial year, I guess they want sales to look better on that? I don't think they operate on a different yearly calendar for sales and such.

I'M ON MY WAY TO GET SOME GAGE 3.5 FOR $27 CARTON AFTER 5% R.A.C WISHCARD AND
5% WOW LTD STAFFCARD EDIT: @BWS

PS SHOULD I POST AS A REP AS I WORK IN THE RDC

    • +5

Yelling because your balls haven't dropped yet?

      • no just left it on

    • I WORK IN THE RDC

Damn RDC hooligans, making leaning tower pallets. I know many a duty manager who would love to meet you ;)

And you don't need to post as a rep, unless the RDC is having a sale, heh. You can if you want to, to play it safe, but you should be fine.

I remember when one guy came into my shop and asked if we had bitburger, followed by Gage, then Bolt… I laughed and said go to Woolworths mate.
