Hey Guys,

I have been looking around for this camera for few weeks now and this is far the best local in store price I could find in Sydney. I know there are lots of cheap imported ones, however didn't want to risk with warranty and servicing.

Camera comes with local 12 months canon warranty and Canon 24-105mm F/4 IS Lens kit. Bought it yesterday :).

  Price matched somewhere and bought at Paxtons… They extend my warranty with other cool freebies :D

  This costs $2248 from d-d photographics, does 1 year local warranty really worth $600 these days?

    hmm.. i guess it depends on the individual. I have heard some horrible stories when it comes to warranty and servicing through some online sites. Anyway $2248 is a good price, but I say it would be an imported model from hong kong or somewhere…

      D-D are grey import stock. Warranty would be having the unit sent back overseas. Once you're past 1 year it's a moot point anyway. Some of my gear is grey, but the latest batch is local.
