Found this at my local Coles (warriewood)
Pack includes:
Cooked Brown rice (so you don't have to wait forever for it to cook)
Vegetables
King Prawns
Nasi goreng sauce
Was simple and quick enough to cook up. Add something extra if you want (I added a fried egg on top so that it was really authentic =)
Will also sit in the freezer for a while as mine had an expiry date of august 2014. Not bad for $4.
I had the Pad Thai version. Taste ok but nothing great. Definitely does not serve 2 as suggested on the packaging.
Prawns? How high up the list of ingredients are the preservatives?
You'd be surprised how long things keep in the freezer without preservatives… But as for this box (according to the ingredients list) I can only see any noticeable preservatives in the sauce sachet.
These are great for a super quick meal. The brown rice ones are pretty filling.
Bought a couple yesterday, mostly because they are gluten free.
Seems they are a clearance item at Coles Warriewood, so may not be back.
