Just found an interesting website (see link).
www.freestuffday.com.au gives registered users the opportunity to secure free items once a month. For this month, they have listed 257 items valued at over $16000.
You can register your interest for items and on the actual Free Stuff Day (**almost 28 days from now **) you can get them.
They have a point system that gives you Priority Access. Points can be earned by referring friends (2 points each), being verified (50 points), complete surveys, reviews video and audio, click on various links, contribute to the freestuffDAY forum.
Very very interesting website — something I would like to blog about one day on their offering and especially their business model. It seems the source of free stuff is from companies that wish to advertise on FreeStuffDay.com.au.
Why would a company advertise on FreeStuffDay.com.au? Maybe someone will add them onto his/her "home page" on the website, and you can build a database of those who accepted your freebies.
Not sure how things will work out for them. It will be fun to checkout.
