So went to my local Woolies today at Underwood QLD, and they had 1kg of short cut bacon for $7/kg or 2x1kg packs for $12 !! Obviously left over stock from their "$5/kg when you spend $100 or more" promotion last week, but cheap as bacon !!! Had an expiry date of 5/6/13, but that's plenty of time to eat 5kg of bacon :)

Bought 10kg, but they still had 40-50kg left, easily.

    Went back today to get more (run a takeaway shop and it's cheaper than wholesale) and it was $5/kg. Bought 25kg, like a boss (Y)

  Still heaps (I'd say roughly 100 packs) left at Robina North. It was funny because there were also a whole bunch of other bacon packets on the shelf that people had obviously picked up initially and then left there once they saw this cheaper bacon lol
