The 8% discount code for Spark is still valid.. so that should be a better option with 2GB RAM and quad core.

    • agreed why wouldnt you get the RK3166 for about 30-40 bux more…much better stats.

      • Yep, RK3166 is way better. Wouldn't bother with this.

    • yeah, the spark is pretty much the same price with 2gig ram and quad core but someone below writes that there is an issue with the GPU and that the dual core will still beat it.

thanks for the link to the old post.

This is a no-name Chinese tablet, in no way connected to the South Korean groups, except fore ripping off the name.

      • +1

Not exactly true. It is made by Hyundai IT corp with headquarters in Korea and further offices in France, Germany, Japan and the United States. While their plant is in China, so is Apple's and everyone else's nowadays. This company is a spin-off from Hyundai Electronics, the same company from which came SK Hynix, well-known for producing quality memory.

So don't be too quick to dismiss this particular brand as some Chinese no-name.

See these links for more info:

        • Really? Are you sure? I realise that the original Hyundai had fragmented into many companies, including Hynix, but neither of those links lead to any Android tablet products.
Is there a manufacturer website anywhere for this product?

        • Well, I've recently bought the Hyundai T7s tablet from this website:

          http://www.merimobiles.com/hyundai-t7s-exynos-4412-quad-core…

On the back of the tablet is says "HYUNDAI IT CORP - Designed by Toptech in Korea - Assembled in China". It carries the official Hyundai logo, like the one on the website link in my previous post.

The official website has unfortunately been down for the last week, rumoured to be upgraded. Link is here:

Waiting for Jellybean firmware to be released…

  • wouldnt you want to get the Cube U9GT5 instead? next gen cpu from the 3066 for 227….
