Our Deal - Lindt Sharing Platter + X2 Hot Chocolates $19 (VIC/NSW)

1150

Valid from 1 May 2013 to 1 August 2013.
Not valid on public holidays
Valid for dine in only.

Considered a good deal as the hot chocolates for $6-7 each. So it leaves the platter to be $5-7.

The picture shows what you're getting but note - the picture features 4 hot chocolates not 2, you're given milk & chocolate to mix it up yourself. Along with the hot chocolate you get:
Bites of…
x2 chocolate brownies
x2 macarons (salted caramel and hazelnut)
x2 waffles with ice cream (next to strawberry in picture)
x2 strawberries + cream (left of waffles)
small pot of chocolate

  • Wtf the $10 referal credit used to be able to use on anything with no conditions, I guess those guys lost a lot of money.

  • +1

    Wow - 3,000 sold.

Also, if the platter isn't enough, you can "Take advantage of a further 20% discount off any full price item in store on the day of redemption."

  • Seeing as you have to pick your store - does anyone know if you can ONLY use it at the store you select?

  • Well I don't think they bother reading the location, only the code which matters most, I mean I doubt they gonna kick you out.

    • +2

They may not kick you out, but at the same time they may not accept the voucher.

      • +1

They will most likly not be able to accept the voucher, as each store has a different budget and will only have their own stores list.

        • agree as last time deal with Chatime they would not accept the voucher (although same suburb, 2 different stores)

  • sweet!… bought one!

  • bought one! thanks!!

  • How come it ask me location preference ? Can I decide where to go after purchase ?

    • can you just check out with paypal without providing other details?

  • Bought 3 and can't redeem the $10 credit. So the credit just doesn't apply to this deal.

  • bought one, the confirmation email states it is redeemable at any of the 8 listed stores, but my voucher does state my preferred store. I guess you should list your preferred store and if necessary try redeeming it at another

In all seriousness, how is $19 for a fancy schmancy drink and nibblets a bargain? I could spend less than $19 on my entire food intake over a fortnight!

    • hyperbole

      Relevant username :P

  • Over 5000 sold!

    • 6000 now

      • 10,000 now! Holy Smokes!

Hi Guys, due deligence for you all from my Qs & As with OurDeal people:

    Patricia S, Apr 23 14:28 (EST):

    Hi there,

You'll need to purchase Vouchers in different transactions if you want to redeem it in more than one location.

    Kind regards,
    Patricia S

John Ho, Apr 23 14:25 (EST):

    Hi Patricia,

    Thks!

However, the order page does NOT want buyer that it's the case. It jsut says PREFERED store!

For those (like me) who bought 3 vouchers, ther is NO OPTION to redeem in MORE THAN 1 location.

This is more disadvantageous for those who buy as gift to their friends etc because it means they need to DICTATE WHERE their friends haave to redeem the vouchers!

Now, how can I change the flexibility of WHICH store I redeeem my 3 vouchers?

    John

    Hi there,

Please be advised that you are only able to redeem your Voucher at the location selected at the time of payment.

    Kind regards,

John Ho, Apr 22 23:33 (EST):

If I choose location A to use the voucher, may I go to another venue B instead to use the same voucher?? I am concerned that if it can't be like that, it would restrict its usage & hence lessen the value.

just got one voucher yesterday night! thanks op! I never check out group deal sites so i would have missed out if not for ozbargain.

    • Good deals are far and few these days. ;)

  • What is the RRP of this?

    • +2

      $39.50

      • That's quite a saving!

  • I guess they've extended this, because there are still 2 days remaining, and 17000 sold!

  • Seems like they want more customers. There was an ad in the herald sun today, with last day tag line.
Just shows how much profit lindt can make from these drink at RRP.

  • Went to redeem mine yesterday. They came out looking the same as people paying $40 for the platter which was a plus. No skimping on the deal like some.

Good for the novelty but I would honestly advise against anybody paying $40 for it - ludicrous. I got 2 return flights to Melbourne for the same.

  • I redeemed mine last weekend at Chadstone. Happy for $19 but would be very disappointed if I paid full price.

  • Great deal! I redeemed mine yesterday. Most people there had the the platter and two hot chocolates. I can't picture many people paying $40 for that so I'm assuming that most people there were Ozbargainers. A very strange, antisocial Ozbargain meetup!
