        I was so glad our first National VCR was infra red. We had friends who had a wired remote and their VCR was on top of their TV cabinet. You could clothesline yourself and possibly have the VCR land on your head if it didn't unplug itself. Stupid things.

  I'm not so sure about the sound quality on these speakers but for $15 that's dirt cheap.
