HPM and Clipsal are generally pretty good budget options. Arlec is usually beneath them, but still better than Click.

Not how it works. It test insulation at 500v, but RCD testing is done by simulating earth leakage.

They are garbage. Mine lasted maybe 3 months before the bearings failed. Lots of reports online about the same thing.
