should be, but the labels dont mean much... you would have to look at power efficiency reviews like techpowerup do

The label refers to peak draw, and as the WD it's referring to pcie 4.0 connections so it's about the same when connected at pcie 3.0

Speedwise it's fine, you just have to move the connector to 2230 size if it has one
