Usually it's $60ish, so double fine on public holidays makes it $120ish, sounds fair.

Giving out parking fines is right, $300 fine isn't right though.

It's not about my getting fined. I totally agree with that part. It's the excessive amount of $300 that I can't wrap my head around.

I don't deny it would make traffic flow better, and I would have gladly paid a fine for that. But $300 seems too excessive though!
