I hadn't used Mwave before. Thanks for the offer. I am now buying this from MWave. (I was previously looking at a MyBook Home edition, which has 3 years warranty vs this which has a 5 year warranty)
Some thoughts:
1) It's good they've mentioned postage. I was able to quickly calculate it was worth checking out the link.
2) They have multiple shipping options. The one priced above for Melbourne is one that requires signature and is marked 1 - 2 days by road. If you want one where you can pick up from the post office etc it costs a few dollars more.
3) Mwave offer multiple payment options, including standard credit card entry or Paypal. Standard credit card entry incurs a fee, whereas Paypal does not.
4) I'm also using Moneybackco, so hopefully it'll be a saving of another $3.60 or so (I've already paid my $10 for this year's Moneybackco)
5) If you are in Sydney, there is also a pick up from store option, which should save on some or all of the shipping.
I haven't used MWave before, and thought some others might be interested in my experiences so far (plus if I look at using them in the future, I can find my thoughts on it).
1) It's been quite easy to track my order as it was getting processed. Notification of purchase and how to track my order came within minutes of ordering. An update came through last night confirming the order was now cleared. My Moneybackco notification came shortly after that. Then I got an e-mail later saying the product was with Toll late last night. 7am a message was added to say the product was in the truck. (I presume in Sydney)
2) Very surprised to get the package at 1:28pm today, as I'm down in Melbourne. That was impressively quick.
3) Got the right package, all sealed etc. Time to start trying it out :)
Overall:
1) Impressed with the communications, that everything's been quite straight forward and surprisingly quick.
2) I could use Toll for delivery as I knew I'd have people at home for these few days.
3) I could pay by Paypal, to avoid credit card fees, while still putting the payment on credit card.
I am prepared to buy from MWave again …
