Rivers - Mens, Womens and Kids Clogs (Crocs) for $3.90

201

From Saturday the 7th to Tuesday the 10th of February, clogs are $3.90.

Great pair of things to wear around the house/garden. Don't leave them in the sun, the heatwave in Melbourne shrunk my size 9 clogs to about size 6 lol.

p.s: The picture attached is direct from Rivers. I have NO idea why they actually labelled it 'ugly' lol. Good to see a marketing team with a sense of humour.

  • Bargain.

  • really good price!

  • I think Clogs and Crocs are different.
Clogs are imitation, and worse qualit than Crocs

The logo for Crocs are Crocodile.
The one in River shows eagle or something with wings

    • And Band Aids are actually adhesive bandages.

The word Crocs is in brackets for a reason.

    • Yeah I dont want to mislead anyone and had them in brackets in case they didn't know what Clogs were.

  • I have a pair of these from the last sale - and i had a pair of imitation crocs from Kmart from a year ago. I was reluctant to buy the rivers clogs as the Kmart "crocs" were so uncomfortable. BUT the Rivers clogs are very very comfortable and thats also with bare feet The kmart pair chaffed my feet.

Now compared to real crocs i cant tell, but these rivers ones are my favourite casual for going outdoors - no thongs. At $3.90 deflation is working very well!!! But as I want a couple more maybe I'll just make a post saying my local store has none!!!

    • Agreed! I actually find the rubber in the Rivers Clogs to be software then the real Crocs. Grip seems to be about the same and wear/durability seems to be the same also.

My crocs have shrunk as well due to heat/sun exposure but not bas bad as clogs. Nothing survives 4 days exposed to 40degree heats.

    • Oh yeah, my entire family is kitted out with them and is very happy, and my ma had a pair of the Crocs prior to that and she says they are slightly different but it's barely noticeable. I've never bought any 'cause I already have a decent pair of thongs, but at $3.90 I may as well give 'em a go.

    • ha great site/

    • awesome site!!!

    • lol awesome!

    • I read that and it was awesome!
They are missing some fashion trends that might only occur in Australia though; namely hipster jeans!

  • These are the ugliest shoes ever…I cringe every time I see someone wearing them. Sorry…just my opinion!

    • Read that article I posted.

    • ha ha rivers also say that in their ad - Ugly Ugly and I wouldn't be seen in the street with them, but then I remember thats what we said about thongs when they first came on the Aussie market!! (Yep i can remember that time!!)

  • Might be ugly but awesome things to work around the yard in. Occasionally I'll go to the local shops in them but usually I restrict them to home / beach.

  • How can these THINGS be used for gardening when they have HOLES where branches, spiders, dirt etc. can get in to?

Went to my local Rivers store in Tuggers ACT before the store could open. When it did, I was told they were sold out??? How can you sell out of an advertised even before they go on sale?????????

    • Why didn't you ask them that?

    • Read the ad in the offer - it says some stores may have a lot others may have NONE.

So they did warn you. so its not really false advertising.

Thats the luck of the draw in this.

My store had plenty but the colors were limited and the sales person said they were selling like hot cakes.

      • Fair point Ozpete, except I did see a few in the store two days before - its as if they put them away for the sale period.

  • Hobart shop had sold out by Saturday, staff said the sale began 3 days previously. They told my wife the ad for the shoes "..wasn't meant to be run in southern Tasmania'. That doesn't make any sense if you read the clogs advertisement posted here.
