Think I'm going to hold off until I'm sure bf4 pc has decent in-game voip.
The lack of even a simple squad chat with made bf3 feel more like a solo/lonewolf type game.
It was pretty frustrating.
I stick with a private ventrilo server. I'm only ever keen to chat to people i actually know that im playing the game with. Free and easy to setup. And if you like talking with strangers just give them your vent server address…

BF3 took 6 years from the previous sequel and now BF4 is 2 years? It seems like EA istrying to pump out games to keep up with MW.

Yeah, BF2 had some pretty fantastic user maps and total conversions released for it. BF3 is pretty stale by now with the limited selection of maps and game types :(
Shame modern games and mod tools don't mix since if you could get free high quality content who would buy their beloved DLC? =(

I preordered BF3 and played about 2hrs.
I still play BC2 tho
I too loved BC2 but could not stand pointless and backward BF3.
Seems like a good price for a new game. Are games getting cheaper ?
if its like the premium of bf3 atm, id say good price, if its just 1 dlc, then……
Yeah I get the feeling its like the BF3 "limited edition" preorders, the game, maybe a weapon or a dog tag and the first DLC map set that comes out… then they'll sting you for each other DLC set or a "Premium Subscription" to get them all (ie another 50 -70 bucks 3/4 months after the games comes out).
Are these games UK version? I have an Australian PSN account, will I be able to register this game with my Australian based account for the online gaming?

As far as I'm aware this is like what they did with Battlefield 3 where they included back to karkand in the more expensive limited edition. The "Premium" DLC will just be the one DLC.
They will be doing a premium service again that will probably include all DLC like the battlefield 3 premium did. So I'm thinking there will be some cheaper deals for standard edition of Battlefield 4 or even cheap bundles of standard and premium.
I felt a little ripped off when I bought premium last time as I was paying a second time for the back to karkand expansion that I had paid extra for to obtain the limited edition on preorder.
Also all Battlefield 3 premium players have access to the Battlefield 4 beta.
