+ve - Good price for this unit

I bought this MY80T and MY85T a year back and it is good in terms of maps update but not good if you don't follow the route given by GPS. In Tomtom GPS, if you take another route or take wrong turn, it gives you another best route but Navman ask you turn back from nearest round about.

Bluetooth connectivity is good with Android but not so good apple.

And most important thing, I bought these units for Live Traffic Update which doesn't work in Perth.

I would suggest people to pay a little extra and buy tomtom instead of this unit

  • Any reason to get this over using maps on an Android smartphone?

Bluetooth handsfree could be good if the speaker is loud enough, but similar can be achieved if you have an aux cable handy.

yes. speed camera alerts, speeding alerts, road speed, current speed, school zones, lane guidance and all that kinda crap. unless your android navigation is different, mine doesnt have all that
