Only class III though, which isnt a 'true' full synthetic.
Depending on the vehicle it may not be suitable, especially for high power/high temp applications.
That's a separate argument altogether. If that's the case, Mobil 1 isn't a true synthetic as well as I recall the base stock is also a class 3. They did it when Castrol and co started this trend.
If it's really high power/temp application, you kinda expect people to look into more specialty stuff like Royal Purple/Redline/Motul/Penrite.
Just for people with performance cars. Redline is over priced and frankly not all that great (althought their trans fluids are good), Penrite and Royal Purple are equally ok but Motul is the best for performance and price. A lot of guys with turbos and mighty modified turbo engines run purely on Motul. Anyway just thought id give some advice for people as i use to own a japanese high performance modifying shop.
As far as I know, Mobil 1 Extended Performance is Class IV Fully Synthetic.
Sadly not sold in Australia by retailers, but you can get it from a few people around Australia who imports it.Really depends, Motul is good, mainlube is another step above again.
Some of the newer Nulon's are Class IV as well.
Plus free delivery if purchase online
Good oil , I've used it in many of my cars ( wrx, integra type r , golf gti) and never had issues on the road or track.
For those people who went today and found "out of stock"… go and order them online… paid for it first (so u locked em at $39.95 each) and pick it up when stocks become available.
Local auburn in NSW was out of stock within a few hours opening. So just ordered online to deliver to my workplace for free
thanks for the deal. I bought online with free delivery
Thank you, was waiting for the price to drop again. lots in stock at Kotara.
Ordered 1 for only $34.95 with the Club Plus complimentary loyalty credit of $10 after the paying the once off joining fee of $5.
Forgot about that. Bought on eBay for convenience. Who bought 10 on eBay? Broden?
Well whoever it is they are in for a shock when post won't accept it as it a dangerous good.
Argh should've bought it off eBay then…at least another positive feedback for me.
Good deal. I started posting it but you beat me to it. $8 /L for fully synthetic oil…
