been looking at a few sonars and just saw this deal on bcf.com.au

I picked up the Humminbird 718x for $149 + $5.50 for delivery to my place

  Damn, hoping for some better ones. I have the 160x and the image is pretty poor. Can't tell fish from seaweed or jellyfish. Maybe I just don't know how to use one. Still good for maping the bottom/structures, temperature and depth.

  the 5inch mono humminbirds are ok resoluton is 320x320 would like a furuno ls4100 but for $149 it's pretty good value
