Just made a request for one to my rental property under a bogus name. Should be good for testing phones for coverage.

    • good luck with that. my sim was barred because i put my city in the city field on the reg form

29c flag fall ! i love amaysim PAYG, optus network, excellent customer service. 12c/min no flag fall.

    • heaps of things are 0c/min though

  • It always change call rate

    • yes watch out the promotional rates doesn't last very long

  • does it come with any credit?

  • Our family use Lyca for

    1. Lyca to Lyca free calls
    2. Especially for calling overseas. We regularly call family and friends in China and Hongkong. We only have to pay 29c flagfall and talk as long as we want. At the moment, ring from Australian to Hongkonk's landline and mobile phone is free, to China's landline is free, but to mobile phone is 1c per minute.

I think it is good for international calls, if it happens to have low rate for the countries you select. It is very good for our family who likes lenghty chats.

  • lyca are the absolute worst provider ever or at least they were for me.

no 3g, they use edge and some other network
also network drops out every half hour
your service is through the uk so you cant access some australian sites

complete joke of a company. not worth it

  • Can anymore comment on the call quality? All these companies route via ip trunk lines, not everyone offers the same quality. Wanna here from lyca users calling overseas???

    • no better or worse than the likes of lebara

one thing i did find was that it would spontaneously disconnect. whether it's bad signal or a rip off on flagfall i would not know. credits also disappear faster than i can account for..

  • always love a free sim. they're great for sms-linked freebies like
