  • Is this better than Pioneer VX522?

    • don't think so. pioneer has ISC which is like Yamaha's ypao. after reading a but it seems like the denon lacks this feature

  • 1 zone only? or 2?

  • Damn, bought the 1713 for $500, thought they only got as cheap as $480 - oh well, better than the $600 list price.

    • +1

Whoever got it for $450 is negotiator level: master

  • I'm pretty sure that once you compress audio that information is lost if it's using a codec like mp3. Maybe if you were using something like .zip (WHY) but it sounds like marketing spiel to me. Apart from that seems like a good deal.

  • How is this one compared to Yamaha HTR6065 from JB a while ago?

  • good price, I only managed to get Yamaha rxv373 for $365 last time…

  • Some might find this useful: this is available in the Quantas FF shop for 63,500 points which is the equivalent of $251 (when comparing to Woolies\caltex fuel vouchers which are worth about 145 points per real dollar).

    • but harvey norman Qantas FF vouchers are 33,750 for $250 or 67,000 for $500 so its probably be cheaper to get FF vouchers and just buying the same product for 299 from HN :)

      • Good point!

Now to figure out a way that helps me use that info to score a 1713 cheaply…

  • Also can someone confirm that using that receipt he was able to price match the 1713 recently?

  • My only niggle about this is the lack of a front USB port :( Kinda undecided atm
