Breathing pads are a must
I heard these give false alarms all the time, so it ends up being a feature never used. Sounds like you have had more success though?
Our first baby was prem and we used the sensor pads with her for piece of mind. Allowed us to sleep at night without stressing something might be wrong - the baby was too quiet at night. Personally we found them useful with no issues with false alarms. Second baby we have not bothered as she never worried us.
our first we bought the ac401 with sensor pads,we had 2 false alarms in 2 years which were down to us not placing pads in correct position,I have never moved so fast in my life.It is piece of mind,for premmies or kids with asthma I would buy with the sensor pads.
There is a sensitivity setting which you can use to prevent false alarms.
