Back Up Those Pricey Blu-ray Movies
Let's face it, Blu-ray movies are way more expensive than their DVD counterparts. That's why, when you own Blu-ray movies, you want to make sure that nothing damages your precious investment. The best way to do it? Make a backup copy to a digital file. The best way to do that? With today's discount software promotion, Aiseesoft BD to MKV Copy!

  • This software can only convert BD to MKV yes?, what about DVD?

    • I think this one is blu-ray specific.

  • Can it back up with DTS-HD sound?

    • Looks like it does on the screenshot.

  • thanks for this. I had Skyfall in a folder on hard drive and ran it through and selected Dts hd audio and main video track. It took 17 mins and ended up with 26 gig mkv. It says it does 3D also i will try later.

  • Thanks.
Does it do anything that MakeMKV (free) doesn't ?

    • No mention of 3D support for makeMKV and MakeMKV state…… Program is time-limited — it will stop functioning after 60 days. You can always download the latest version from makemkv.com that will reset the expiration date.

  • No sign of serial being posted to me…

    • I received mine within 2 minutes of putting in my email address. Spam folder or typo on email address?

      Possibly try again?

      • Nope looked everywhere, asked for resend, still nothing…

      • Got mine as well in 2 minutes. You can enter your email address again and try.

  • I have a BD folders can I use it to create mkv? Or make ISO?

  • Thanks mate, gotcha!

  • Converted a 41Gb BluRay into a 39Gb MKV (Lawrence of Arabia remastered).

Not really impressed with that, and can't see any quality options in the program to get it smaller.

    • This doesn't recode.

      • So it just copies and changes header information & extension? bah, nothing for free I guess.

DVDfab butchers the audio on recoding, worse the futher into the movie.

Any suggestions on something free that works?

          (1) Rip to MKV with MakeMKV
          (2) Use Handbrake and choose the disired setting.
          (3) Enjoy.

      • Why re-encode and lose quality , hard drive prices are so cheap these days.

        • ~40GB for one film would mean what about 100 - 120 movies on a 4TB drive, not that cheap to store at that size really. It's not a 2/3 cents a film any way.

        • -1

Lol are you kidding me most blurays are around 25 gig for a mkv with no compression, so around 75-80 on a 2tb hard drive which is $94 so just over $1 a movie to store. If you compress to 12gb each movie around 50c a movie are you that poor to worry about 50c a movie saving losing quality.

  • Downloaded installed email arrived pretty quickly.

  • seems to try and avoid mailinator - but 10 minute mail worked fine for me

  • What does "the scene" use to get movies around 12gb? I suppose DTS MA takes up a lot of room as well.
