  • Gross weight is 277 kg.. Holy.. must be fully made out of steel or stone.

    • plus, 1054 cm is equal to 10.54 metres. It must be a typo. Nice deal though

      • Another typo… this one has been fixed as well.

    • Nice pick-up on the typo… we have fixed the text.

      It now reads 27.7kg.

  • it looks fugly, is there warranty?

    • Yes! There is a 1 year warranty.

  • I've done a google search on the product code, but can't locate any detailed specs, therefore a couple of questions:
    - Does HDMI support mean it has an HDMI interface? If so, how many?
    - Does it have optical audio out?
    - Does it support PAL only? Or both PAL and NTSC?
    - How many frames per second does it support (ie, 50, 100, 120 Hz)…

Is there a detailed spec sheet available?

    Thanks.

Dealsdirect have the same unit for $1099. Only attracted by that as DD accept Paypal and i have credit with them and you can get cashback using other bargain websites.

Looks like only 1 x HDMI but 1080p for that price is good.

Wonder how good the HD tuner is? Probably average

People must understand there is SO much more to a TV than its resolution. It amazes me how some people just hear the magic buzzword "Full HD" then think it must be a good TV. Wrong! I would gladly buy a 1024x768 Panasonic Plasma for the same price..

This is a bit of a con, does anyone REALLY believe this unit is worth $1999 before the discount, as listed above "retail" on this junker is probably more like $1,100-$1,200 at most.

Having said the above, don't be put off by there being only 1 x HDMI if you are interested, being a digital signal splitters which deliver 100% quality pass-through are cheaply available on ebay.
