  • How do you get them for $4.95? I'm logged in and they're at their normal prices

That's weird. Can you post a screenshot? Here's what I see.

      • Ah, I see. You need to be paid member, not just have an account and be logged in.

You need to be paid member, not just have an account and be logged in.

That's probably it. Only members (ie paid members) can see most sales. There are a few sales that are visible to the general public, from time to time.

That's why I went "Platinum-24 credits at a time". Not only is it the cheapest per-credit, but you get a year's membership to see all the sales.

With the 2-for-1, 3-for-2, and $5/$6 sales, I'm averaging around $6-7 per audiobook. Cheaper than a paperback.

        • You could also try creating a new account (may as well use the code in the OP for two free credits) and then you should see the sale prices.

Then you should be able to gift books to your current account.

Or, if you have Paypal, and cover the transactions fees, I'd be willing to gift the books to you.

  • Only one free credit for new signups, OP, not two. 30% off additional purchases, though.

      You didn't follow the link.

      • I see the problem. I did follow your link, but since I'm on an iPad, it diverted me to a mobile-friendly page with a different offer.

Ok. That sucks. Hopefully, you didn't sign up with only one credit and can access a PC to sign up and get two free credits. The 30% discount off for members is the "standard" member price and applies to all paid members.

BTW, sign up with a US billing address to access a much wider range of books.

Link to your Amazon account, and any Kindle books you've purchased will let you get the Audible audiobook (if there is one) at a much cheaper price too (generally $4-$8).

        • Cool. Thanks for the advice.

        • Also, make sure to cancel within the first month, even if you want to continue your membership.

You'll be offered a discounted membership (normally 1/2 price for 3 months of 1 credit per month) to keep your membership. That works out cheaper per credit than the normal plans.

Then at the end of the 3 months, cancel that plan too and decide what membership plan suits you best. Personally I'd recommend the "24 credits at once" one.
