  • $7 to ship one unit and about $13~15 to ship 6 units, not sure I want to buy $60 worth of an untested and unreviewed product just to get free shipping. I think it's not worth the $10 shipped for one to test, I will pass on this one.
    Thanks though.

    • If you order more then two boxes it works out cheaper then the shop

  • The blurb on the product page says "Ècaffè capsules are made in Italy from the World's premium coffees". The description is the same as the Map Portofino Coffee Capsules:

Blend of South American Arabica with a lively contribution from Indian Robusta to enrich its tone and personality. With a rounded, velvety flavour, it is ideal for drinking in the morning and after meals.

I have a strong suspicion that these are the same product with different packaging. Just like the Map Bella Coffee machine is very similar to the Woolworths S14.

    • Really? Bugger. At least Harvey Norman threw in the milk frother as well.

      • The $3(?) milk frother from Ikea works better than the Woolies milk frother and the kids have more fun.

(Apologies for being a kill-joy, but it is Monday morning and my weekend was spent working).

        • I was kind of trapped. I bought the presto for 49 dollars from hn when it was on special and what a heap of crap that was. I changed it twice after it stopped working and got sick of it so i had to upgrade to the bella at full price. Darnit.

  • Thanks for the post ccspack. Just a question on peoples pods. Is the coffee in your pods solid and hard, it crumbles apart when you squeeze the base of the pod, or is does yours appear to be loose and you can shake it & hear it? Not sure if I have a dodgy box of pods or not.

  • I bought a variety of 240 pods from them for $99 delivered. I think that that is great value, as I got a mix of Hot Choc & Lemon Tea too.

  • Map pods are compatible with Aldi machines, so if these are compatible with Map why are they not compatible with Aldi machines?

Can anyone confirm if they actually will go in Aldi (Expressi) machines?

    • +1

They will fit into the Aldi machines but they will eventually stuff up the filter in the machine, so yes, but no if you want your machine to last.

      • Cheers for that. How do they stuff up the filter? (Actually, I didn't know it had a filter.)

        • +1

Different filter in the pod, plus the hot water runs the other way.

  • Can you let us know what you think of the coffee when u get them? Great price!

    • +1

I like it, haven't tried it all yet, but so far, so good.
