I saw this in the catalog the other day. It was no interest to me. The fiancé was like "OMG bargain" Apparently it's a good deal?

Most of the prices in their catalogue are just their regular everyday prices.

U r correct with the price. But not all of kmart products are standard stock, which means once they are sold out, they might never come back to the shelves. Its similar aldi's promtional stock.

    • I find double wall glasses to be quite expensive, usually a set of 2 for over $30. I thought it to be a good price, but I have yet to see them in person.

      • I have now seen them in person and can say they are very thin glass. Wasn't even convinced they were glass at first, they felt like plastic.

        Didn't buy any.

  • Cool. Don't you love Kmart. Good price.

  • not a fantastic bargain, good everyday price tho, will still pick up a pack, thanks for highlighting OP

Be careful not to burn your lips with hot drink as you won't feel the heat with your fingers.

  • Slightly OT…

For those with Nespresso machines, Grocery Run have a deal with compatible capsules at ~ 38 cents each:

      "Slightly"? :)

Maybe it's the norm to use these for coffee. I'm looking around the office and everyone has ceramic mugs.

  • Anyone ever knocked one of these on the corner of your espresso machine? BAM! Like a light-bulb popping!
Little slivery bits of curved glass everywhere too!

    • I have. Not these kmart ones though. Have kept the rest in the cupboard since. What a mess to clean. Slivery bits and fine powder :-)

Yeah just a warning, these types of cups (even the more expensive brands) crack really easily. Take care when you drop ice, tip it over in the sink, or drop in a metal spoon too roughly.

  • These K-Mart ones are not suitable for microwave as well (so not great if your coffee machine produces warm coffee and you usually nuke it in the microwave to heat it up)

NEVER EVER nuke coffee!… Destroys it! Nuke the milk prior to adding the coffee.

Never ruin your milk with coffee!

I was more going to say don't ruin your water with coffee :-P but sometimes its a must

    • Crap, does it say this on the box (I've already thrown mine away so can't check)? I've been using the cup to nuke my milk in the microwave.

  • Seems these are pretty popular. Tried a couple of Kmart stores in Adelaide and both had sold out very quickly according to staff.

    • I tried 5 Kmarts in Adelaide and they had sold out even with extra shipment.
However was told Kmart Rundle Mall had plenty of stock and put two on hold there.
      Thanks OP!

  • I've got the Bodum Pavina variety, of which these are a similar replica of. Was like $30 for 2. Good deal.

  • FYI, these glasses have been recalled by the manufacturer.
