What are the defects?

What are the hazards?
If the glass breaks during use, it may produce shards of glass and pose a laceration hazard.

So I moved into a furnished place in September with a brand new box of these, I have been using them for the last month and I chucked out the box and have no receipt. Do I just take the glasses to Kmart??

Do I get new cups?
dunno if you want replacement cups

If they have replaced the faulty cups with the one that are safe to use then yes you should get new cups, If not then should give you a store credit worth the RRP of the cups or new set of cups.
Even though they came free with they are obliged to replace them or give your money back .
