Never tried you guys but wish you had a Sydney operation. Always forced to spend $150 for a dozen lol.

What are your delivery prices to Sydney? Impressed by your FB fans

  • +1

didn't u post this a few weeks ago? still no ABN?

    • +1

What will you do with an ABN?

  • Sounds promising, but like many others - I can't vote without knowing delivery costs (in my case, to Sydney).

  • Also interested for delivery to sydney. Rep, can you give us a rough quote for delivery to sydney cbd. Thanks.

  • delivery to Brisbane?

also - anyone have any feedback/examples? It's all well and good to offer a price, but not having any examples is not going to attract many customers.

    • also interested in Brisbane delivery

Not registered for GST?? I guess that they aren't going to sell many of the 100 or 600 packs, as otherwise $75,000 would come around pretty quickly…

      • +2

        'Not registered for GST'
Ie hoping not to pay tax in Australia or to leave it as long as possible before pretending to go slightly legit.

        • -4

Take it up with someone else if you don't like the way the tax system works.

        • +1

I Think the operator of this business has shown a number of dodgy practices outlined below and as such is less likely to honestly come forward and pay their share of tax.Its a comment on a bargain forum, I don't need to take it up with anyone.

Here you can have your neg back…

  • +1

    Where is the previous deal??

    • it was removed by mods, it was just a pdf, no website, a hotmail addy and no ABN.

  • +8

Can I have the 100 roses individually wrapped - would like to increase my chance ;)

  • +4

    Hello Guys,

    For Sydney Customers,

Thanks for your feedback. We are starting soon at Sydney wholesale market.
Meanwhile if you could send us inquiry through our website about your quantity and suburb,we could reply you with approximate cost and delivery time.

    For Brisbane Customers,
We will consult with our logistics company and get back to you, meanwhile you can also send your quantity and location so that we can assist you precisely.

    Regards,

    Melbourne Fresh Flowers

  • +3

    how will they be presented?

100 roses all wrapped in one huge bunch?

    boxed?

    singular wrapped?

what guarantee do they have? - eg will all roses be similar quality? Don't really want to put money in for a bunch where some are wilted or otherwise not as presentable as you see in local florists.

  • +4

Looks like a reasonable deal for people in Melbourne. If it is cash on Pick Up as it looks, then it shoud be a relative low risk deal.

  • -7

Why the hell would anyone want a 100 roses?

    • +15

      Happy wife, happy life.

    • -1

either you dont have someone special in your life or you dont like the notion of pleasing your partner unless they didnt like roses.

$125 for 100 roses is a bargain if they are long stemmed, uniform shape and color, presented elegantly.

      • I thought 12 was enough. Some people so greedy

        • Have you checked the prices for roses on valentines day? You could pay $125 for a dozen.

If these are of the same length and quality then you could get 100 for the same price as 12. For better results split with a mate or 3 and pay $62.50 for 50 roses or even $31.25 for 25.

        • +1

          "hey babe here's some roses"

          "why aren't they wrapped?"

"split them with a mate - was cheaper"

          lol

I think what I'm trying to get at here is quality over quantity.

    • Primarily for the female partners self esteem and bragging rights when doing the usual compare with the other ladies the next day at work ;-)

  • Hi Rep, what length are these? 40's? 50's?

  • +12

looks like you guys bought all those fb likes. no way you can get 2000+ likes in 1 month and none of those people felt the need to post anything

    • +1

agreed, all the likes came in a week… https://www.facebook.com/MelbourneFreshFlowers/likes

    • +12

So just because the most popular city is Istanbul, Turkey even though they are based in Melbourne and they got the majority of their likes as soon as they signed up you assume the likes were bought and aren't genuine?

      Fair enough.

      • omg awesome, op please post the link for istabul facebook like team

    • +3

      Dodgy brothers…

    • I was thinking the same thing myself… Seems strange.

  • damn i would be all over this if they were in Sydney, just no guarantees it being sent from interstate. what a shame.

  • Hi Rep -

Can you provide some sample delivery costs with the 125 roses signature wrapped? or is this just wholesale flowers?

For example - delivery on Valentines day 14th Feb, wrapped in a presentable format and delivered to Melbourne CBD, or Sydney CBD, etc…

Definetly worth a look if you're in the local area.
    Bit risky otherwise.
Also it would be nice if the website had clearer english…
"We have 0.1 million Red varieties along with some colours if you are required for valentine'13."

  • +2

I'll be the forever alone guy handing these out on Bourke Street Mall.

  • +9

    No ABN
    Bought Facebook likes
    No physical shop address
    No phone number
Registered email is a free Gmail account
    Not hosted in Australia
    No comparable pricing elsewhere
Can't write in proper English in marketing copy

= No chance of this being legitimate.

    • +4

I actually think it is legit.

The seller wrote that its pick up from Malvern Victoria, which after a ASIC search, shows a business address in Malvern 3145.

It's pick up as well, so it's not like your parting money without seeing the goods. This guy probably rushed his business through to try to catch the Valentine's Day sales - obviously has a lot to learn in doing sales and marketing, but it does seem legit.

Looks like he also used his real name on ozbargain, so again, it just shows an inexperienced new business.

      • +1

        Thanks,
        You are right.

we have started this business just few weeks ago and because valentines day coming soon we are keen to get maximum exposure to keep business up and running.

As new comer,we are selling it at very reasonable prices to get some good leads.
Apart from that all customer are welcome to inspect and buy if they wish.

If any other concerns please contact me personally on 0430 3139 40

        Cheers,
        Hurkadli

        • wrote a message to you on your website.. no reply.

  • Buy 500 roses for $600 & sell each one for $10. Make money

    • +12

      That's called a florist.

      • +1

        or a brod-ist

  • Can't imagine delivery to Brisbane will be reasonable (= cheap in my dictionary). Will have to rely on my local Polynesians with a van near the overpass.

  • +1

    Good Morning Guys,
All roses are 40 CM stem length. They will be box packed (bunch of 20 Roses)
We are wholesaler therefore will not provide individual wrapped roses.

All shipments will get dispatched on 12 or 13 th Feb.

    For Sydney customers,
You can pick up from our Sydney wholesale market supplier or we can deliver it to you. Postage will depend upon your quantity and location.

Unfortunately we cannot deliver to Brisbane this time as it will be expensive (Postage) for customers as well.

    Cheers.
    Melbourne fresh flowers

    • mate, people would be a lot more comfortable buying from you if you addressed their concerns above.

    • Where is your sydney wholesale market supplier?

      • +2

Should get 5 ozbargainers together and split the $125 to get the box each for the misses

        • i'd be willing to buy a box for my lover

        • Ooh, ozbargain group buy anyone?

        • I'm interested. I assume we're all in Melbourne?

      • Sydney Markets,
        NSW 2129

We will supply you all details after your order confirmation.

        • +2

Why the secrecy? Location, delivery costs…

        • +4

Because if they give you the exact details then you will skip the middle man and go directly to their wholesaler.

        • +2

Fair point. But like many others above, I'd settle for a rough delivery estimate to Sydney, or even a precise quote to the exact post code I emailed a day ago, as directed by the OP.

    • Bunch of 20 roses. From their website, this means…

20 Roses: Believe me, I am sincere towards you

  • Did as you said and emailed via your website enquiring about delivery price to Sydney and have no response in 24 hours. Any update on delivery price or where your Sydney supplier is?

    • Sorry about inconvenience,
      Please send your requirement to

[email protected] or text me on 0430 313 940

  • +1

Don't know how you expect to sell something when you don't provide an address, or answer emails or text messages.

    • We hope you have received feedback from us,if not please text it on above number and we will get back to you ASAP.All Emails and SMS's are being answered so far.

      • That's obviously a lie, as I've written on here and to your email, and used your website message as well..

I'm gonna negative this due to lack of service. If I can't get an answer on here, or emailing you or messaging you on your website, what chance do you think we'll get - when we come to pick up the roses…

        • +1

Is there any reply in your spam folder? That's what normally happens to me if the business said they replied and I can't find the email.

        • nothing

        • Hello ,
We understand your sentiments but we have replied to each e-mail received so far. You can still contact us on 0430313940 or SMS your number so that we can co-ordinate more effectively.

  • This was all of the information I was given, although its more than they've posted here.

Most probably we will have temporary stall on Burke road,Malvern east on Valentines week but will confirm in next week.
