  I bought this last week at OW for $125 pricematching JB HiFi who had it for $132.

  The wifi features work okay and are really the distinguishing feature. The remote viewfinder is a standout feature for the price, sweep panorama was nice too, disappointing that its only really skydrive online though, but this did work (limits you to uploading 9 photos at a time), and PC auto backup hasn't worked for me yet on Windows XP. The full 14MP photos on superfine are quite large (5-6MB each) and so while a slideshow works over DLNA depending on wifi performance it might not keep up.

  I really like the zoom lens and the interface is easy to work even though it's not a touch screen. Did not come with a memory card which is a bit of a shame.

  So it's an okay deal but there are a lot of cameras in this price bracket, so I'd only buy it if you were wedded to the combination of wifi and super zoom.

  As for the reviews I read them too and you have to remember that they are comparing digital cameras with other digital cameras - initially I didn't realise this and I don't have a review which compares things to my smartphone which is really what it needs to be better than, not better than a $200 camera which is what most of them were saying.

    You mean, does the selection dial fall off like the WB100 ?

    Shopping express got returns of WB100 with this fault. Unsure if its a batch or model-wide problem.

  Seriously do yourself a favour and buy a real camera made by a camera company such as Nikon, Canon etc.

  I can't agree with your opinion…
  if I compare with other cameras (which made by other Japanese companies) I can't find better camera in that price range..this is true (compared to nikon and canon they will give you what you paid)this is quite good camera and if you really want to get a good camera buy fujifilm x10 or ricoh grd 4 and
  sony rx100 with au $400 to $600 range..
