Normally $6.99 is a bit of an exaggeration give version 1 was published 24 Jan 2013…

  • 50 crystals worth $5.49 AUD.

Might be sold for $5.49,,, but certainly not WORTH $5.49…

And really, why would you spend up tp $51.99 on an in app purchase… these games are made to leach money out of the parents of little kids playing the games. Apple has a case to answer as well……avoid all these "Tiny…..", "Tap…." and like games designed to milk money from the unsuspecting. There are many better games which don't have the in app purchases.

Can you really blame the developers?

It's a proven concept and they don't require you to purchase the packs.
5-10 years ago a game would sell for $50+, now all of a sudden they are either given free or for a couple of bucks.

Yeah, I think you can blame the developers!

Especially when there are fantastic "ethical" kids IOS developers like Toca Boca who make great apps that don't keep trying to screw kids with in-app purchases that they don't understand.
