          Had to wait about 2 weeks for a refund on NYE's(got it cheaper for $50)

        Be careful where you are staying with airbnb. I was looking to book an apartment through them for NYC. Turns out it is illegal in NYstate and the authorities are starting to crack down on it. Some tenants have been evicted mid stay or turned up and found their accomodation blocked off with tape. Great idea but just check it is legal for your destination, the airbnb owners aren't doing anything to protect customers for the areas it is illegal in.

      Damn the "Rates to Go" code did not work for me, tried 3 hotels and it said "We're sorry the promotion code you entered is not valid for this hotel. Please see the promotion code rules for a list of non participating hotels." Funny thing is I fit all the rules but I noticed the "Applies to selected hotels only", I am guessing the hotels I looked at were not "Selected". Lets hope Expedia works.

        you could also try hotelclub.com.au - "discount" 10% off.
        The 20off2013 ratestogo code works in aud only and for most non-chain hotels.

        Noticed this coupon works for all hotels i've tried it on - so well done Expedia!

      Tried the rates to go, no luck. Expedia worked. I dont think they exclude hotels.
