this is not an advertisement website, take your crap and bugger off!
It's a bargain website and what's been offered is cheaper than anyone else, so it's a bargain.. might not interest you (or I) but for someone it might be just what they're looking for and at the best price.
The correct grammar would be "might not interest you (or me) but for …. "
or "nor I"
You're going to be a busy man if you're to be the resident grammar nazi here T Man.. :-)
Can lose the contact details - we don't need to see them in every post for every store - but otherwise I don't see any major problem here.
every single post by the user 'anypc' is an advertisement for his website, funnily enough. This isn't for free advertising.
We do accept vendors posting deals from their own sites here quantocks.
It's acceptable provided it's a bargain. That anypc uses his business name as his/her login name is a good thing in my opinion.
Lol for the negative vote on my comment. I think it's my first.

quantocks, as scubacoles pointed out above, stores are permitted to post deals on OzBargain; if you hover your mouse over the orange icon next to anypc's name, you will see "Posted by a store representative". You may not have been aware of this, being a relatively new member, and perhaps the symbolism of the orange icon isn't intuitive, but reps are certainly welcome to submit their bargains.

Absolutely. Many businesses have been forthright about their representation on OzBargain, either by posting under their business name or lodging a store representative application, and that is to be welcomed, while others have deliberately posted under false pretences or even gone to great lengths to attempt to mislead. While anypc's approach to direct links leaves a lot to be desired and the unnecessary contact details should be removed, it is appreciated that they are posting openly and have offered a few good prices.
List price $799
Special price $605
Site says you save $249 (32%)??? Oops!
Despite the dodgy maths, it's still a great price, beats MSY and eBay!
