I was just about to book some flights for $69ea way Melb<->Bris and while looking at the site the price dropped to $49. Looking at their specials page now there's a lot of flights that have just dropped in price!

    $828.60 return flight to Auckland for 4 people with 2 having 25kg luggage both ways.

    Annoying how JetStar charge kids at full fare, whereas Emirates does 10% of adult fare for kids under 2 and 50% adult fare for kids under 15

    Yes, I sort of agree but 2 ad and 2ch will cost you over $1300 with Emirates or about $1100 with 1 infant and 1 child. Around $860 if you are lucky enough to travel with two infants. My point is that Jetstar is already a discount airline and most airlines charge full fare for children.

    Thanks happysound. Also snagged flights to see parents. Makes me sick all the BS fee's they try to add though. $17 per person per flight credit card fee!, $5 to sit next to the family. Being a devout ozbarginer I refused it all, and am thinking (hope!) that they will not put the kids at one end of the plane and us parents at the other!

        yeah I just did a bank transfer - not in a rush. I just can't believe they can legally get away with charging $136 ($17 x 4ppl x 2 flights) for 1 family to travel. There is no way in hell that is justifiable!

          yeah, the fees are just ridiculous, they almost negate any savings from this bargain. Of course as a true OZ bargainer, I rejected all those "convenience" fees and opted for direct deposit. Mind you, You will need to make your payment via internet banking today for your payment to reach Jetstar within the allowable time period (3 business days).

          I picked up 2x tickets from Avalon - Sydney during the long holiday in June (Queen's Bday, departing Saturday morning and arriving back Monday evening)and they cost only $ 156 inclusive everything! Now I just need to find a cheaper parking in Avalon because the usual parking will cost $ 65 for 3 days!

      Awesome, thanks for posting! Just booked our hols to Bali for a little over $500 including luggage. Demod, just ignore all the add-on crap and pay by direct deposit. That way you also get a few extra hours to change your mind before paying if you want to double check dates or anything.

    Oh yeah, our class is flying to Tasmania for a school trip - cause I'd like a refund of $138 thanks.
    Could buy lots of chocolate at Cadbury factory with that to eat on the plane trip home.

    Just booked return flights Perth to Bali for $200. They've got sales listed for Melbourne to Perth, but not the other way around. Is it possible to get Perth > Melbourne return with sale fares both ways?
