Usually Harvey discounts on games are store specific.

You just don't see skylanders discounted that often .Im amazed that Karratha has a Harvey Norman. It was a tiny little fart of a town the last time I was there.

I read the title of this post waaaay differently.
Any way to purchase the individual game without a pack? I'm thinking about purchasing the 360 version but would also like to give the 3DS version a go. I looked on auction sites and there are listings for the game itself for around $35 + 20-30 postage. Maybe just buy two starter packs in store and then sell online?
The Portal Owners Pack is essentially just the game plus a figurine, the 3DS version here isnt too bad, i bought it for $32 + $4.95 postage,
Thanks. I think I will have to go the PS3 version then. I think it's exactly the same bar the controls since the compatibility of the portal is Xbox 360 exclusive.

I'm hoping to be able to play it on both the 3ds & the Wii. I understand I will still need to buy the portals owners pack for the wii if this is true to get the game.
Why is it costing me an extra $4.95 to pick up? it says the collection fee is zero and the advertised price includes GST?

Total Includes $6.18 GSTIf DSE insist I pay the extra $5 I will not pay and neg the deal. I understand if they put a collection fee on top (even though that would be sneaky) but to have in the invoice total that there is zero collection fee and suddenly jack up the price is misleading and deceptive. If it was GST exclusive it would cost $74+ so it isn't a GST thing. I've seen it at other stores for $75-80 (Kmart, HN) under $68 was a deal but to have it $73 is very sneaky when I'm picking it up.
EDIT: The full price only came up after I clicked proceed before that it was showing the standard $67.91 price. It is not being delivered.
This maybe a system error. In past when DSE order had a charge incorrectly applied (sorry I can recall which deal it was), they refunded this overcharge, especially if you take a screen shot of the promotional pricing you list above
Good idea, I will bring a print out of the advertised price in store if they still want to contest the charge and my invoice which has the "$0.00 collection fee" noted. Hope everyone else isn't getting charged more than they should :)
Is it worth getting the original for $47 or Giants for $68? My kids don't have any Skylanders.
Probably get the Original first as its cheaper and by the time they finish that one, Giants will be cheaper as I'm sure they will release another game
I would suggest the Gaints as most of the kids in my boys school are just getting hooked onto Skylanders Gaints and only know Gaints. We already have Skylanders and now buying Gaints as well.
I wasted my day with this mob. I went to pickup Starter Pack from Broadway and they wanted to charge me $85 for what is advertised for $67.96.
Then I went online and made a " Click & Collect reservation". DSE at North Sydney did not have it, even though they advised me by email and SMS, it was "ready for collection ".
My local Harvey Norman in Karratha, has the starter pack for 60% off (Wii, Xbox and PS3). Original price $88, discounted price $35.20.
