  • Energizer Ultimate Lithium 4 Pack $12.50…
    If you've got a $10 JB Perks voucher - price match @JB & pay $2.50

Was wondering where Amazon were price matching yesterday

    • +1

Hope JB staff can price match "clearance" as BIG W has listed the batteries as clearance.

      • +1

Ah yes, didn't click on it to see Clearance
        Worth trying

  • 10% cashback with SB and TB if it can stack.

    • Code not listed so will be rejected

      • It may track and be rejected later.

  • Does this work with Everyday Rewards monthly 10%?

    • +2

No as you can't add more than one code.

These are not rechargeable but disposable batteries. The description however mentions rechargable "Energizer Recharge batteries were also the first rechargeable to contain recycled batteries" This could be misleading and I wonder what happens if someone buys them thinking they are rechargeable and sticks them in a charger for a Ni-MH Battery : (

    • +3

Disappointed, thought this was a great deal on rechargeable then noticed the same.

Don't know why they are marketing single-use lithium batteries as "Holds power for up to 20 years in storage"

Like seriously, who buys a pack of AA batteries with the intent of using them 19 years later!?!

They don't hold much more charge than any other battery, so if you start using one now it's not going to last you much longer than any other battery, let alone 20 years.

      Targeted at doomsday preppers maybe?

      • +2

When you buy batteries, they have usually been sitting on the shelf for a while (years potentially)

The 20 year storage life also means that their very likely will be negligible degradation from the date of purchase to the date you intend to use them.

      • Yeah I agree and the ones they sell in 20 years will probably last 100 years. I guess they are useful for low current devices where they may sit on standby for years or just making a clock tick. The main advantage is probably they are said to not leak but time will tell I guess.

Worked for preordering the new Donkey Kong Banazna for switch 2 - $89

    • Was gonna grab it but no way to guarantee release day. If you're looking to grab Street Fighter 6 and Bravely Default, it works with both in your cart too.

Good luck getting JB to match.
They looked at me like it was coming out of their own pockets.

They did match eventually after 2 different staff tapped away on the computer.

Next time went to officeworks and didn't blink.

Wasn't even as cheap at this BigW price.

    • I just ring to price match. Never been a problem.
Staff in stores seem surprised & try to avoid doing it. Want to serve next customer. Depends on staff / store.

      • I'm in Perth and haven't been successful with JB price matching.

Rang up a store who agreed to price match. When I got there, the staff said there is a $9 delivery fee and confirmed with the manager. When I mentioned about buying up to $65 for free delivery, they could only discount to $15.

Then I rang 2 other stores who also mentioned the $9 delivery fee.

How did you all escape the delivery fee? In the past, I had also heard staff mention the delivery fee to other customers when they asked for a price match.

        • +1

Unlike with these batteries requiring delivery… Haven't PM many stores requiring delivery. Never charged.

Price matched Amazon last week - which would mean a delivery cost for me. Didn't charge it

I've already got too many batteries with Perks, so won't try.

Ring the 135244 price match number shown on JB Site. Can also use chat. They check rival store, local JB stock.
JB SMS the reduced price in an order ready to send. Add the Perks code & send!
That way they can't later add delivery!

They looked at me like it was coming out of their own pockets.

      I got the picture.

Wow thanks so much for this, great timing.
Somehow got free delivery, $10 off some urgent & bulky essentials whilst currently being sick!

    • +1

      Hope you feel better soon.
Delivery is free for $65 min spend. The offer is $10 off $80 min spend.
The batteries were in the title for $12.50. I didn't add free delivery in case people think the batteries were free delivery at $12.50 spend.

Thanks, and yeah good thought. Didnt expect it either way as items were bulky and heavy (usually excluded from free shipping). 🙏
