In general, yes. But I recently bought a pair of "Crocs Unisex Mellow Recovery", and I felt like I could size down from a Men's 9 to an 8.
They aren't uncomfortably big, they work just fine. Apparently some Crocs are designed to be roomy. But personally I would have preferred to size down if I could
I got mellow slides and had to go 1 size down
Down one US size from runners. But same US size as dress shoes. I find my runners are a size up from dress shoes, and casual sneakers are in between.

I think the only difference is that you will see your toes in the slides, other than that they look very much the same.
I have both, you'll get sweaty in the clogs pretty quick, but still very comfy in the right weather

Yeah dunno, I guess it depends on how wide your feet are and how tight you like your crocs to fit.
I ordered these yesterday came in today, so fast! and i normally wear an 11 and got the 10 and it fits perfectly.

Depends if you are going for the "fresh out of clown school" look.
I like sizing down 1 size, sometimes even 2 sizes depending on what you are getting.

The clogs feel more comfy but as others have mentioned, the clogs heat up inside pretty quick…perfect for winter :)

Looks like something a local farmer wears in village in a third world country not that I have a problem with that i used to be that broke ass kid in that village back in the day.
They're convenient and reasonably breathable / comfortable, that's it.
In the village its barefoot. You would only have a crock if you cousin in america bought you it as a gift.

these looks like 'more' of a gardening shoe than originals, no holes at the front to let dirt and crap in, still look super comfy and easy to wash out with the hose when done
