so worth 30k velocity not a good deal

        • yeah better to sign up with the westpac velocity card when they have a deal on that

How is that a reason to neg?

      • This is in no way a bargain. if you got 90k frequent flyers it would be. 30k is terrible

        • It's 90k reward points

They're not designed to be redeemed for FF points. They're there for cash back/gift cards…

you must apply and be approved for a new Altitude Rewards Platinum card between 31st October 2024 and 25th March 2025

Can it be approved in 2 business days?

24 months is rough, the churn is getting difficult

Banks really need to be more transparent with these value of these arbitrary “points” 90k sounds good but only valued at 30k velocity points.

Earn rate of 1 dollar = 1/3 of a velocity point is woeful value.

Westpac devalue its own points. You can get less and less every year for the money you spent. Amex is better .

    • I didn't know they devalued their points. Not that long ago it was 1 point = 0.5 FF point. I exchanged some points to KrisFlyer at that rate in September 2023.
