This Reolink Doorbell with Chime has been very popular previously and now both the PoE and WiFi variants are on sale for a good price. Both ship with an AU Plug from Reolink's AU warehouse. For extra savings stack with AliExpress Coins, AliExpress Cashback and upsized cashback from TCB/CR/SB.

The doorbell has a 5MP camera with 2K resolution, 180° FOV, person/motion detection, two-way audio, IR LEDs for night vision, chime (AU plug) with 10 tunes available, supports recorded voice messages, LAN Port (PoE version). You can use the Reolink app to access, playback and talk.

One of the big features this has compared to others (i.e. Ring) is that there's no monthly fees for using the cloud storage. Like other Reolink cameras it supports microSD cards, NVRs (Reolink, Blue Iris, Synology etc), RTSP streaming, FTP, Home Assistant, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate at the time of posting.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

  • Battery life of the WiFi option?

    • +2

The name is a little misleading. The wifi option requires mains power.
There is a battery version however, but the reviews aren’t amazing.

      • Yea I ordered it basesd on the name and will be returning it now

  • I have a wired wifi one which is great. Thwre is a difference in field of view between black.and white ones as white one may give wider view.

  • Any good camera deals?

  • Can PoE version work with NVR from recent Costco deal (https://ozb.me/o/3l8C)? I understand I might have to sacrifice one port on the NVR if it does.

  • I need a PoE switch to go with this. Is this KeepLiNK 10-Port Gigabit Switch with 8-PoE and 2-RJ45 (KP-9000-208GP) @ AU$41.39 a good buy?

  • Oops bought and installed one from amazon for $109. Can i buy from here and return to amazon? ;-)
