  • Add Bundle: Standard Limited to the cart
  • Apply the coupon OZAU40 or AUAS40 at checkout

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and doesn't stack with cashback.

To enable Google Play, go to Settings > App Management > 3 dots top right > Google Basic Services > Turn on.
Then download Google Play from the Application Center or sideload an apk yourself. If the English characters and spacing look off you can change the font to fix the issue, as shown here.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard(mastercard.us) or VISA(visa.com.au) exchange rate depending on the card.

  • How much for 12GB/256GB vers

    • -1

There is no 12GB on this listing.

    • +1

It is just under $400 AUD (excluding AliCashback and Shopback) if you pay in USD. AliExpress(aliexpress.com)

      • I’m coming out at ~$422AUD (laying in USD), how did you get to $400?

Bought the 8/256gb variant, wondering if I should have spent the few extra dollars. Maybe it’s that I’ve already used the OZAU70 code but I just keep getting an error saying I haven’t spent enough.

        Guess it doesn’t matter now!

        • with the code $40 code, it will be total $249 USD = around $395 AUD, yes needs to change to USD to apply, did not work with AUD.

          • +1

@sn0w: Hmmmm right I reckon it's worth spending the bit more for 12gb ram right what do ya think

            • @AeymothSky: think so, not much more for a worthy upgrade.

            • @AeymothSky: Not sure really, my first big buy from Ali.. thought it would just future proof me a little longer, but pretty sure the kids will smash it before it lives that long anyway. Thinking of using the Ali cashback to buy a screen protector.

              • @sn0w: I've got me a xiaoxin pad pro 2020. Got it for around A$450 back then I believe. It's served me well with a. Decent AMOLED screen 2560x1600. The issue is yeah only 6gb of ram, android 11 global rom tho I can switch to zui 12/android 12 but it's a hassle. And the space only having 128gb.

Hence can only install one or two big games before it's full.

So yeah looking forward to an upgrade soon aye!

          • @sn0w: Think that’s where I’m getting lost, I can’t get the $40 code to apply on the 12gb variant, even on a different account. Not gonna lose sleep over it (I will 😂)

            • @jackary: Did you switch to USD. It's working for me. Comes to US$248.59.

              • +2

@bogstation: Yep, I’m in USD - I can see how you’re getting to $248.59, the $40 coupon just doesn’t seem to be working on my 2 accounts. It’s all good, I’ve panic bought the 8gb!

Update: got FOMO, cancelled the original order (who knows when I’ll get the refund), created a new account and have managed to checkout for the price you’ve mentioned. Added the genuine case, came to $273USD. Man… what a whirlwind.

                • @jackary: Nice.

I'm tempted to buy it but might wait out just a bit more for a slight more sale. Hopefully it's stillll a thing as it's the 2025 model right so should be stocked a bit.

      • Nice, need OZAU70 to bring it below $400

  • +6

The 8GB/256GB version with UFS 4.0 storage is available for US$226.99 (~A$359.79) by following the instructions here.

Don't pay more for the same item. Choose this instead(i.ibb.co) and get US$13.01 worth of accessories.

    • +1

Or add even more to take advantage of the US$60 and US$70 codes.

      • Add more of course.

    • sorry for a dumbo what are the accessories? navigating ali is a nightmare.

      • +1

Stuff from other stores on AliExpress.

      • +3

You might want a case/cover/stylus/screen protector/anything to bring the total up to US$239 to avail the coupon codes.

    • +1

Does the 'Super deal' come with the most accessories?. Does it come with the pen?. Cannot tell what the difference is between Standard limited, Standard etc.

Also, there are two '8GB 256GB Grey', they have different prices, what is the difference between the two?

      • +3

Standard, Standard Limited and the two greys all have a single difference - price. Nothing more.

    • +1

Thanks mate! And thanks also @Clear. Ordered with your instructions.

  • +3

Anyone know how to get rid of all the Chinese text?

Ive done my best but get popups in foreign characters and have to get my phone to translate

  • OP, any good deal on Lenovo tablets with OLED screen?

    • +2

Hard to find new models with OLED. The older 2022 model had OLED but that's been long discontinued.

    • +4

I was apprehensive at first when getting the 2025 model due to not being OLED.
But have to say the screen on it is absolutely fantastic, with amazing blacks (For context I own a Gen 3 QD-OLED monitor and an LG G3 TV)

  • Hi

I bought the 2022 version of Xiaoxin Pad Pro and switched the software using Lenovo software.

My tablet updated itself in Oct-Nov last year and now saying that OS is not correct.

I tried to reinstall OS using Lenovo but no luck. As I install different OS than Global OS, seller is saying he/she won't be able to help (which I understand)

Does anyone faced this issue and found a solution

    • Yeah they've region blocked the CN tabs now from having the global ROMs installed. I know @Make it so managed to restore theirs

    • Unfortunately, this is a significant risk for the buyer of an overseas device like this one.

I had a very similar experience with a redmi device.

Lesson learnt : if you buy, then either a) do not try to flash it, or b) be 100% certain you know what you're doing, during flash update.

      • +1

Fortunately for this specific tablet there's no risk as there isn't a global ROM and the CN ROM has everything you need.

        • +1

          Everything except multi-profile/user switching?

    • Same. It will eventually load if you plug it in and restart it a few times. If the battery level is low enough, it won't try to do the restart to update itself.

I have yet to try putting ZUI on it. I haven't even fixed my bike from 2 years ago, so I don't know when I'm even going to try to fix this.

    • Yeah the latest software is incorrect. Just use lenovi recovery tool to rollback to older version. Works fine for me.

      • That seems to have worked for some, but I couldn't log into the recovery tool without it forcing me to update to their new replacement tool, which didn't let me install the ROM I wanted. Basically, if you buy this, be aware of the risk that you may never be able to update it.

    • +1

This webpage(xdaforums.com) has instructions on how to flash. I used this to get the latest healthy ROM on it (Nov 2024 - the Dec 2024 doesn't work). Apparently the latest ROM from December can work, but you have to swap out the scatter file using one from a previous healthy ROM. See here(xdaforums.com)

      • +1

        Thank you everyone

Make it so - Thank you. I installed Flash_Tool and rom from that post.

At least, I am able to turn my tab on. Now I have Chinese OS on my tab which is annoying but better than dead tab.

        • Haha, yeah, when I thought I had bricked mine I was very happy to see anything on the screen. But you can flash using an international ROM. Just that you'd either have to swap out that scatter file, or do away with updates. All comes down to what you use it for I guess.

  • +8

Just a note that the display on this tablet is 400 nits, not 600. I bought one last sale and measured it with my display calibrator.

Also got confirmation from the Lenovo official store that the 2025 pad pro is 400 nits, not 600.

They also don't have a compass sensor so navigation functionality will possibly be affected depending on your use case.

    • +3

100% useful infomation to anyone that plays or has a kid that play Pokemon GO or any other app

  • Thanks OP - grabbed one with a pen, case and screen protectors.

    • Can you link the accessories you got?

      • +1

I wasn't able to post the links but I went with an original Lenovo case ($30) and Lenovo pen ($40) and generic screen protectors ($10). I have been burnt too many times in the past buying cheap silicone cases that don't protect the hardware. All up with the tablet and accessories it cost me just under $450 for the 8/256 model.

        • No idea how you found those prices if they are official.

          • @FabMan: Search on AliExpress and read the reviews to make sure it's genuine. Both the pen and the case had over 2k sales and hundreds of reviews.

  • can anyone comment on how great is the pen on this tablet?
thinking of getting one, to replace paper and pen on site when need to do a quick sketch of the floorplan of a property.
is it reasonably fast, or i better stick with traditional way paper and pen ?

    • +4

I’ll probably get shot to shit for this but you really want an iPad for something like that. Love or hate the ecosystem they are the top pick for drawing. Pressure sensitivity, palm rejection… all work a treat. Any iPad will do.

(Full disclosure - I bought this tablet tonight. I just wouldn’t use it for the purpose you’re intending or expect the pen to be any good for 20 odd USD)

    • +1

Pretty good, better than samsung pens. But apple ben is slightly better. Get a matte-paper like screen portector. Amazing.

  • Is this a non-affiliate product, i.e. not eligible for cashback? Chucked it into the link on Topcashback and says no.

    • Correct non-affiliated. You can take advantage of the AliExpress in house cashback for shopping credit instead.

      • Thanks. Pulled the trigger on the 256GB version, and got a pen, case and matte screen protectors. Not bad for <$400 AUD

    • I got it last time, but I might have just been really lucky. It was for an unaffiliated 12GB version I bought in November, and I got a $57.66 cashback that was tracked and confirmed.

  • is there a discount for the standard tablet?

    • +1

Standard and Standard Limited are just sale promotions. The tablets are identical.

      • Sorry, I meant, 2024 standard, not pro
        Is it a good product?

  • +1

Such a great device for the price! Big and nice screen, very snappy CPU. I love it

  • Finally pulled the trigger, have been getting anxiety every time I see this tab come up. Super ingrained in the Apple ecosystem but can appreciate this for what it is. A giant content consumption device which can also sail the high seas. Thanks @Clear

  • Anyone have any idea on how long does it take to deliver in Brisbane if I ordered today?

    • +1

BNE here! Ordered an hour ago, my delivery estimate is March 25-April 5.

    • In BNE, too, Estimated delivery date: Apr 5, 2025

  • Oh, they're allowing coupons to be used on tablets again? Ok got an hour to think about this lol

    • +1

      Only phones are excluded.

      • Ah, but what is a tablet if not an oversized phone :)

        • +1

          thats a phablet

          • +1

@chriskq: I have not heard that word for 10 years, god bless

  • +2

Anyone have a recommendation for something more budget in this sale?

Wife wants something to watch Netflix and the treadmill. And that is the entire use case.

    • +1

Yeah looking for something similar, just a cheapie Plex streamer.

      • Following…. need to replace old 2nd hand ipad mini for my kid which now now longer supports youtube app even though the tablet is 100% fine (tried the work around of deleting and installing the old supported version of youtube and turning off app updates, it only lasts for < 24 hours then says the app is no longer supported - screw apple).

        • I watch youtube on brave browser, no ads and no silly restrictions like app has

          • @SurprisedPanda: yeah i use brave on desktop… but browser tablet experience not great

    • +1

What about the cheaper Xiaoxin Pad Plus?(aliexpress.com) Use OZAU40 or AUAS40 to take US$20 off. Should come to US$168.56 all in.

  • Does anybody know if this device would succesffully enroll into a MDM/MAM Microsoft 365 tenant?
Supposedly some of the China android roms don't support 'enterprise android', etc.
Anybody using this an corporate android tablet using office 365? I'm looking for a cheaper than ipad option.

  • bought one for the treadmill at the gym. time gonna go fast playing teamfight tactics and watching stuff hohoho

    • +1

I hate this tablet for TFT, not because of the tablet itself but because of the terrible optimisation from riot :( but absolutely love it for everything else!

      • +1

cheers for your input, i bought an apple ipad instead anyway

        • +1

          enjoy!

  • Will it work in QLD schools WiFi? Kids want ipad.
    Thanks a lot everyone.

    • +1

Honestly i wouldn't see why it won't work, it connects to my university wifi

  • If someone would be so kind to test this tablet to see if it works or installs with this app;
    Yamaha Smart Pianist;
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.yamaha.s…
Main purpose it to use this app, if it does not work I would not get it.

    Thank you

    • +1

Hey dude, i have no idea what this app is for but i installed it and it runs, regarding the connectivity of Bluetooth to devices it seems to work but of course i cannot test that out

  • Thanks OP! Will grab 2 when I get home for the kids.

  • Thanks @Clear! Bought from last sale and loving it so far.

Btw, any recommendations for keyboard case?

    • Get the official one. If you search for it on AliExpress, it'll be pretty expensive like 70USD + GST but it's pretty damn good. That, along with PC mode essentially turn it into a mini PC

  • guys, how do I add language other than english/chinese on xiaoxin pad 2023 ?

    • +1

ZUI only supports Chinese and English currently.

  • There is a $50 code now AUAS50, the 256GB model works out to be about $340 delivered now, the 128GB, works out to be $331 delivered currently. (with tax). $9 for extra 128GB, sounds okay to be.
Can someone please check if the Yamaha Smart Pianist is installable on this tablet? You don't even need to install it, just see in the play store that it is compatible and installable.

    Thank you.

    • Oh damn I got the 128 last night. Already shipped.

    • +1

I bought the tablet from the previous sale. Just setting it up: Enabled Google Basic Services, then Google Play from the App store. I can install the Yamaha Smart Pianist app.

      • Thanks Firelord for checking for me.

  • Anyone having any issues with ordering two of these. It does say one per customer but I just ordered it twice from the same account.

  • Some help, please gurus! If one was looking to purchase the 256 GB version, what's the best deal?

Bit confused by the two available 256 GB models/options, the 'Super Deal', 'Standard Limited' and 'Standard' choices, further muddied by the coupons! As mentioned above, there looks to be a $50 coupon now (AUAS50).

At checkout, I'm seeing US $221.59 ($350.67 AUD using the MasterCard converter) - does this look right? Any help or guidance would be much appreciated - thanks!

    • +2

Yeah, I think the prices went up for the 8GB/256GB version now. I am getting $360+ now (not mastercard converter), last night I was getting $340, I cannot get that price anymore.

I think I will pass till next time, probably will get buyers remorse.

Edit: Maybe check price again another time, it seems volatile.
