Cashback terms and exclusions

  • Cashback is eligible only on affiliated products. Enter the product ID or URL on this link to check eligibility, then click the 'Get Cashback' button to complete your order.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of the following items: face masks, medical consumables, gift cards, virtual products, coupons, travel, ebooks, AliExpress Top-up, and any non-affiliated AliExpress products.
  • Confirmation of goods received must be made in your AliExpress account within 90 days of placing your order to be eligible for cashback.
  • A $30 cashback cap applies per AliExpress transaction (unless specified differently during promotions advertised on TopCashback).
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • AliExpress trades in US dollars meaning the purchase amount and the cashback amount tracked may vary due to conversion rates.
  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding taxes & delivery charges. Your cashback may be slightly lower than expected due to this.
  • AliExpress reports transactions based on item and not combined cart value. If you purchase multiple items in one order, they will report to your TopCashback account as multiple transactions.
  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they may prevent your order from tracking.

      • We all know its a scam…

Just remember Gerry Harvey drove this… So if you ever think about going to Harvey Norman…

        Think of this …

        • Whats a scam? I like Gerry Harvey but agree this was a terrible idea, and nobody seemed to care at the time. Now we are feeding tax to china, and incorrectly calculated tax too.

@drspy00: The scam is collecting the GST…then keeping it.

Basically the government decided..how can we send 10% of Australian funds offshore…

            Gerry Harvey entered the chat…

            • @tunzafun001: The scam is the irratic calculating of the GST too. Often its 10%, sometimes its 15% or 20% . Its hard work to go through every transaction, but I will do it. Imagine how much they are making by a lazy $1-2 that people dont really care about and forget about. At-least with temu the GST is already in the price so you know what you are paying

        I cancelled an item.

The GST component was not refunded from AliExpress!

I guess you chase that via Paypal?

  • All tracked for me, but for all my items, as usual have varying errors in the GST which is totally wrong. What would happen if Aliexpress refund the proper cost of GST , would that affect cashback for them scamming? Really time to escalate this as its more than a few hundred dollars they owe if I add it all up for previous orders.

  • A$50.76 cashback. Another dangerous increase.

      • I haven't checked the GST part but I'll assume it's out of whack. I've stopped reading all the messages people have sent me about it this week.

    • $85.23 cashback here.

  • Is there an issue with how TopCashback calculates the tax? or is it a currency conversion issue? As an example. one is 57.11 USD $89.98 AUD, tracked at $86.24AUD and $21.56 cashback. If you pay in AUD, you get aliexpress inflated AUD rate, but would it be beneficial to pay in AUD for cashback, or would TCB always convert the transaction to USD, and then back to AUD if you paid in AUD? Just wonder why its such odd numbers.

    • Nothing to do with TopCashback. AliExpress charging GST on the pre-discount price is a known issue

      • Thats not the GST though, thats the price before GST. I know the cashback is calculated minus the GST but this doesnt make sense either. Maybe its a really bad conversion rate, which was my question wondering if its beneficial to pay in AUD.

  • Anyone find TC doesn't work with aliexpress with vpn engaged?

    • Just like what they tell you not to? As it can block the tracking.

      • Never had a problem tracking with shopback or cashrewards with vpn on, but with TC the aliexpress site won't even load after clicking the link

  • Anyone know if an item is returned, will it void the total order cashback or just the itemised cashback from TCB?

    • I hope it's per item as TCB track individually…

AliExpress tracks each item separately and refunds won't affect cashback for the other items in a combined order. 2 items in my Dec order were refunded. The rest of the items in the combined order have turned payable. The refunded items still show pending and would be declined eventually.
