Product Description

The Halo range balances warmth and versatility. This jacket is a great option for wearing around town, the hills, and the campsite.

Its combination of recycled main and inner fabric and 600 loft duck down provides plenty of feel-good warmth. An adjustable hem and cuffs help trap heat in, and a PFC-free water repellent finish encourages water to bead and roll off the fabric's surface.

The main and inner fabrics are bluesign® approved, which means they were manufactured with the responsible use of resources. This product contains RDS down certified by CU 1210688. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) (independently) certifies down and feathers against animal welfare requirements and tracks it from farm to final product.

All Macpac down is independently certified to the RDS.

Actually, I quite like this colour. The main reason I didn't buy one of these jackets last year is because the options were all really boring and safe - like Dad-wear.
This colour has tempted me, even though I have about half-a-dozen winter jackets which I usually only wear for a combined total of half-dozen times a year.
But the pickle and TMNT comments made me chuckle.

Yeah agree. Love buying non boring designs and colours. I have plenty of boring stuff too but the pickle jacket is cool.

Is this the same jacket that usually $99 on special and most ozb members already have one?

    • Yes.

    • +3

One?? Most Ozb members have at least 5 in black

Has to have a hood also, otherwise you're probably new to OzB. Rules are rules unfortunately.

    Review from website:

    Jacket Smells Awful
Not sure what the issue is, I had purchased this product as a gift for my extended family in India. The day they opened the jacket, the awful poultry smell was unbearable and could not be worn.

    Lol… probably " the other smell "

    • How good is it for tasmanian winter?

      • +1

Really good, has Velcro cuffs for the button impaired Tasmanian

        • Hey, they didn't choose to have parents that are cousins.

  • This is great for wearing to the eastern suburbs primary school drop offs

    • That's more a Macpac free zone.

Eastern suburbs would be Patagonia, Northface, ArcTeryx, Canada Goose etc.

I'd say this is like Northface light in terms of branding.
Although would perform better than pretty much all the options.

  • Just wonderingwhat would be recommendation for boundary umpiring youth games in solid rain?
