You see, the point the economic illiterates fail to grasp is that the as the pie gets bigger, EVERYONE benefits. It's not a zero sum game.
If a hundred million people all increase their wealth and can now afford iPhones, the guy selling iPhones gets rich too, so his wealth is a sign that everyone is winning.

Another example is the AFR rich 200 has been going for 40 years. In that time only 13 people have stayed on it. That means 187 people who weren't rich got rich, and 187 people got relatively less wealthy. So the pie gets bigger and more people get a share of it. Win-win

There can be legitimate debate about economic boycotts, and I don't think people are 'bad' for buying Teslas, but I fully support everyone who is choosing to boycott. It's one way that people here can make a difference.
