  • Post the bing lee deal then, pricematch as deals are not permitted. You can add those on the description

    • Will do, I couldn't remember the rules on price matching

  • these things are everywhere

    • I don't understand why, the price of 1.5L Messina is $39, and the costs of ingredients only to make the same batch is about $25-30. It would take forever before the benefit is realised.

One might say that is because they can try ingredients or recipe that is not sold anywhere. Like using almond milk or something, but if they are not sold anywhere, are they any good?

      • Milk, sugar and cream are relatively cheap?

        • Cheaper than eggs right now

  • Ninja Creami or Ninja Creami Deluxe?

    • Depends really on how you’re going to use it..

    • +3

I went the original Creami purely for the fact the pint sizes are smaller. Less freezer space and I could eat a full one in one sitting.

  • +3

I had a standard and had it replaced with a deluxe by warranty, deluxe better IMO and the larger pots help

  • +2

this or 6 $49 kmart ice cream makers

    • -1

      Yes

    • +5

Kmart's icecream maker or 49 of their $1 popsicle molds?

      • I can't find an ice-cream maker on their website….maybe they don't stock it anymore?

  • +2

These are awesome. Got one as I had a voucher and thought oh well, if it's a crappy gimmick it hasn't cost me anything. Turns out I use it nearly everyday post workout. Make awesome protein ice cream in it, and get them gainz.

I have been using the deluxe and love it. I make greek yoghurt ice cream almost every week and kids love it.

Highly recommend using aldi premium greek yoghurt as base.

    • do you add anything else to it for the base?

      • +1

Yup frozen fruits from my local grocer. Also if you are fan of Pistachio then any pistachio spread (crunch preferred) and a dash of nutella on the base is heaven.

        • I also saw someone share the aldi greek yoghurt base in the FB groups so I def have to pick some up.

        • Where do you get your pistachio spread from?

  • Not sure how, but we managed to get this for $180 at Good Guys

  • damn i literally just got my base model one today ): is it worth returning it to amazon and paying the extra $20 for this model?

    • +1

$20 seems like an easy sell on the upgrade to me. Easier to share, and solo with the ability to process half a container

    • +1

the base model should has been as low as $180, You should definitely get the deluxe if you paid around $270 for the base model.

      • +1

😭 alright I'm getting the Delux thanks for the advice

    • I think if you were buying new, yes $20 is worth it for the deluxe — but no massive new features.

  • I should get around to doing other recipes these days but FroYo is too easy. Tub of flavoured Gippsland Dairy yoghurt into a container, freeze and go.

  • +1

Waiting for Aldi to make a $99 Creami dupe

    • +2

It's basically a jig to hold the container with a blade on an automated drill press, not that it isn't a good idea, but I think these are overpriced.

  • This does soft serve?

  • +1

Thanks OP for this deal. I've managed to get the price to $267, by 1. Price match at JB HI-FI, 2. sing the $30 off perks, 3. Used 2 X $100 Ultimate GC which where purchased at 10% discount ($180 for both).

    • You sang?

  • +1

Any idea if we will begin to see the soft serve variant on sale anytime soon?

  • Nice machine - I bit the bullet last year for net $250 (gross $350) after I missed the 40% cashback up to $120 in July last year (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/857780) but albeit got it when the 40% cash back offer up to $100 came up one month later in August (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/862408) - looks like Ninja though have not had 40% cashback offers since. Only annoying thing is there is a minor (not uncommon issue if you leave plugged in - you may need to turn off and on at powerpoint if you plan to use next day, etc.- have had it replaced with same issue (there are Reddit threads of this issue in the US but looks like their replacement models have solved it so maybe it is fine now).

  • Anyone recommend a frozen bowl type for making gelato?

  • +1

    $287 with WELCOME30 @ binglee

  • Got it for $270 with JB.

My ProTip is… be nice and they will sort you out!
Seriously that live chat feature is so easy and useful.

    • How did you get it for $270? Dont they just match? Or is it $270 after perks, discounted GC etc?

  • I love this thing. Worth every penny.

  • Priced matched at JB in person but wasn't able to apply the perks code. T&Cs state that the discount can only be applied to current ticketed price. Was able to knock off 10 with the welcome coupon so in the end, was 307 total </3

Got it for $247 at JB

Priced match at JB for $317
    Used $30 perks code
Used afterpay $30 off to buy a prezze gc and used it to swap for a jb one
Used discounted jb giftcard via bupa
