Also while I'm here, what does an ice cream maker actually do? Just churns while keeping cold?

    • fixed sorry about that I didn't realise

  • This thing just churns pre frozen stuff but the results are amazing.

We have one of these and it's incredible. You can really fine-tune the final product to your exact liking. I make icecream using almond milk, a bit of peanut butter (need some fat otherwise it could break the machine), a scoop of protein powder, salt and some xantham gum. We're currently doing keto for energy and weight loss and you can literally eat the whole damn tub and not go over your carb or calorie limits. Game changer as the main keto icecream I remember (denada) was eyewateringly expensive ($12 for a tiny tub)

Only annoying part is having to wait 24hrs for your icecream to freeze unlike the compressor ones that can make it on the spot, but if you buy a bunch of containers from Amazon, AliExpress, Temu, etc. you can make a ton of batches in advance.

Do you have this model or the Deluxe?

      • This one, the tub size is perfect for two people we find (though it is easy to get carried away and eat the whole thing).
I forgot the mention that I also find the mix in feature to be really good - hard chocolate bits get mixed in nicely but if you use softer chocolate (ie. A keto mars bar) you get small "flecks" of chocolate through the whole thing, divine!

    • is keto icecream good for diabetics as well?

      • It depends but generally yes. At only 10g of carbs for a whole tub of icecream and no sugar, you should see only a small bump in blood sugar levels, but some elements can have hidden ingredients that can spike sugar levels, like maltitol, so you'd need to carefully check what you put in to make sure nothing contains anything like that.

  • Picked one up at Good Guys for $180

Originally went to HN but they had none in stock even though their website said they did. Anyway GG was across they road so asked if they could price match which instead they did better - didn't even ask for a better deal so lucky it was OOS at HN.

  • +1

HN website not working with me when trying to check out.

Anyone else having problems with it?

    • The Good Guys also has the same product at the exact same price you can check them out if they're closer to you or if the HN website still doesn't load.

      • Would love to, but I have a HN gift card from the last sales haha trying to move the GC on

  • Order now and the store will contact you when it’s available.

    And

Your cart contains product(s) that are not available for store pick-up.

Is it very conflict between the store and online? And the discounts are not applied at checkout lol.
