I bought from you guys 2-3 deals ago, delivery was fast and coffee really nice (Hacienda La Esmeralda "Palmyra", not tried the second one yet). We now use this more than the 'proper' coffee machine.
Wanted to buy another unit for a friend last week but you had no offer on then so ended up buying from Amazon, could not face the $50 charge for the unit here in Australia.

Bought the Aeropress deal last time, shipped quickly and the coffee was excellent. Not sure I'll get through 2kg of coffee before it got stale though…. tempting…. but I'd only make maybe one cup each day, so it'd probably take maybe 4 months…. But thanks anyway!
Why is 350 filters advertised as a year's supply? That's only about one coffee per day. Or is it really practical to wash and reuse a filter a few times to last a day?

The 350 filters are generally an average of a coffee per day. You can wash and reuse the paper filter a few times before it gives up. I believe the rep is using the generic average as supplied by Aeropress.
Alternatively, get this stainless steel disk replacement and NEVER have to buy paper filters again.

Definitely practical. I used to do it - worked fine. But they're so cheap - maybe around $0.02 each - I now normally just push the grinds & paper out in one go and be done with it. I know it's not the true ozbargain spirit where you should use both sides of the toilet paper, but sometimes ya gotta live a little…. ;-)
