            I’ve got the coles saver for $7/month. I get 10% off 1 shop a month, you can stack with this gift card method.

      It depends on the service station and the gift card you are referring to.

      I find EG Ampol, Ampol Foodary and Shell Coles/Reddy Express are the easiest to deal with when it comes to split payments, as you can split between multiple gift cards and multiple payment cards. As long as you tell the staff you want to do split payments and the amount you want to redeem on each card, you should be fine. In terms of personal bests (for a lack of a better term…):

      • EG Ampol: four AmpolCash gift cards in one transaction.
      • Ampol Foodary: two 7-Eleven digital gift cards and one Category Choice Fuel gift card in one transaction.
      • Shell Coles/Reddy Express: three Coles Group & Myer gift cards in one transaction.

      At 7-Eleven, their in-store checkout will let you do split payments across a maximum of three payment cards (which includes 7-Eleven digital gift cards), but whether a staff member will allow split payments in the first place is a different question…

      At other service stations, I have no idea.

    Could never check the balance online for 7-11 card. For some reason, it always errors out on the website. And registering doesn't work either.

      I am assuming this is via https://www.cardbalance.com.au/

      If so, what I do is:

      • Enter random gift card details and hit submit to trigger the error message.
      • Refresh the webpage and complete the puzzle.
      • Enter the actual gift card details and hit submit.

      I do not register gift cards via the balance check website.

        Yeh, great ui design.. even without any error, complete the puzzle and it takes you back to an empty form and you have to fill out the details again…

          Haha yeah…

          The balance check website originally had you enter the gift card’s details and press Submit. The website would then get you to complete the puzzle, and if that was successful, it would show you the gift card’s available balance and transactions.

          I would like to think someone at Blackhawk Network accidentally broke something, rather than deliberating choosing the current stupid design. I will see if I can reach out to Blackhawk Network and get someone to look into this.

    Many local stations can beat them in price without the need of a discounted GC and no hassle. This will give about 20c/L if can stack during low cycles, it might save 5-10c/L or $1-$2 per fill (20L). Rough calculation.

          EG Ampol actually sells a semi-decent range of gift cards, including WISH and Amazon gift cards (although stock will vary from store to store). I suggest you check out the GCDB page for EG Ampol to see the other types of gift cards spotted for sale at EG Ampol.

          Also, keep in mind the full range of gift cards may not be on display in the convenience store, so you may need to ask staff whether they stock a particular gift card. When I went to one EG Ampol last year to purchase a WISH gift card, it was stocked behind the counter out of sight of the customer.

      If your gift card is activated correctly and you are inputting the correct details into Apple Pay, it sounds like you failed the fraud checks that happen when you attempt to add a new payment card to Apple Pay.

      Have you been adding and/or removing a lot of cards from that Apple Pay wallet recently?

        No.. the last time I added and removed a card was back in November of last year.

        I attempted to add my bank cards (debit card) issued by my bank, and it added successfully. It's just these prepaid cards issued by Blackhawk that I am unable to add to my Apple Wallet. I haven't found a solution to that, so I may have to use an Android phone to add it to my Google Pay wallet if worst comes to worst.

      It has literally never worked for me with Apple Pay. I add it to a Google Pay wallet on an old Android phone and use it that way.

    I haven't been able to add 7/11 cards to Google Pay from this deal since Monday until today, tried daily. Today worked without any issues, did nothing differently to all the previous days. All past deals I was able to add cards instantly. Not sure, maybe something have changed on back end. Just FYI for people who've been struggling.
