    • I think the basic installation rate in Perth is around $800.

  • To sweeten this deal even further it looks like there is $100 Cashback on at the moment for all Haier air cons

    • Only 1 offer may be redeemed per individual at any time during the offer period.

If buying multiple splits, I'd get in touch with them for clarity.

    • That's assuming you can get it installed before the end of March

Installer and installation fee is the deal breaker especially during summer

      DIY

      • +2

Installing aircon from scratch is not DIY, especially if you need a dedicated electrical switch directly connected from main powerboard (both of mine have) and cutting through brick

Changing pre-existing installed one could be DIY if you have some kind of electrical skills but not recommended.

          But I have a powerpoint.

        • Get a pre flared lineset and put your Ozito hammer drill to use. Easy peasy. No need to run a wire back to the fuse box as this one's a baby.

  • Thank you OP ordered one for my daughter bedroom.

I had a aircon installer come quote a job and he was telling me solar power is BS, 100% of the solar power my panels generate gets exported sold to the grid then I buy back what my house uses. When in reality your house uses the power directly from the inverter (free) and then excess power will get exported and sold back to the grid.

I played dumb and didn't correct him.

Might've been two of you playing dumb😂

      • +2

No. I'm not going to let someone do electrical work on my house who doesn't know how solar works. Prefer not to have my house burned down. Also why would he deliberately say incorrect things if he wanted to portray competence.
